Why small producers * will * material to some wholesalers

Therefore, the numbers of yesterday went through my roof. I still have a blog each value get stretch so many of my readers, and from people who have never been Tales vividly before.

Why?

Wholesalers receives a lot of attention. this part deserves (H.R. 5034) (unknown/not wines, from small companies can't get into a three-tier system, he did not take all responsibility for the wholesalers).

Really having any type of discourse (thanks to Web 2.0 media humanizing) emptying things.

The most important for me was the resistance of the calling in sales, resistance (for me) is simply a request for more information. (It will not block the road. means, here comes the debate.) This comment from T.J. touched on many points with some validity and worth sharing.

Here is the comment of T.J. me:

Your scenario paints only one image of the brands "national", "national" and stores them. This completely biased against wholesalers. correct, many do not care about the smaller wineries. but this inaccurate stereotype of our business. I doubt you, or any real wine lover and even those shops, shops. If you've ever had a retail store and found a bottle of Txakolina, Kerner or PN Oregon with production case cases under 300, you thank the wholesaler for these wines display case. Please stop using us wholesalers like lightning rod for what's wrong with this business. You do not hear me complaining wine bloggers want to get up the frequency soap box.

As I thought about all of this, T.J. was part of the big points …

Yes, it was about the national brands, shops, but anyone reading it outside our industry might get the wrong impression and consider another factor not … smaller wholesalers. is that they build brands. They work really hard to do it.Unfortunately for them, after you created the brand 's, some of these brands even segue to a larger wholesaler … wham, bam, thank you for the love of wine am police … Real shopping in stores--national I found myself doing this back when I'm gone sort for dates from the family.I have had any clue where each wine shops were I went to the supermarket, was disappointed that I couldn't find anything … hence the eclectic, at the beginning of this saga. Just back from Oregon, where all last week, and it was very winery (s) with only 300 cases--And, Yes, I went to the store in a small wine ~ the friendly vine ~ Forest Grove.(I'm going to write about it this weekend). T.J. died in lots of small companies I saw the production of wine Randy Reeder ' s shop. So … thank you Mr. Wholesaler for one.It was the big guys, bringing all that? you know ~ ~ maybe because they can/small artisan wines to absorb … in case at the same time.It is the people to buy it, so you can restock it. He also appears to invest a bit of PR and marketing is, since if a tree falls in the forest, and nobody is there to hear it, does it matter even?

So, I'm going to say that I heard a complaint from T.J., ("you are not hearing me complaining wine bloggers want to get up the frequency soap box.") ... I am going to tell you what I heard was a request for more information.

I am first to establish my credentials with him, that I have a lot of history to justify my thoughts that I think many of you read what I wrote it, because my numbers quadrupled day … other amazing.

Also, the power of being aggregated … this story was picked up by a colleague Penn Cyril winebusiness.com, Lewis Perdue wine industry Insight.Moving story out maybe fished out industry wholesalers like T.J., who simply don't voice an opinion.(Most people read, no comment … me included.)

I went to the site of the work, T.J. Skurnik wines, really impressed.

We exchanged emails behind the scenes, he added more thoughts … his words that are very ???????.Of fair play, here are some more points valid for why a certain small manufacturers to wholesalers Skurnik wines, like.

"I know your ?????? ??????? guys was small. Hey, and screens I couldn't anymore.Their wines have so much more personal (whether good or bad). But many bloggers have become the target of a three tier system (and you know what it is easy to target we) …

"I see a new type of wholesaler emerging here recently. small manufacturing, hard to find material. also, a new boutique shop are popping up every wine enters the mainstream of America, of course, it is naturally the end big box stores and wine lovers. down the trough wine stores to find the geeky things real. we often bemoan the desperate small Tower, but we often forget that they had decided to log on to the market more wine is produced some of the exit West (not to mention every single mode), which must find a way to get sold. If you ask me, we are the best friend of small producers in many ways. I am working hard for any one guy I know in my book. what to display large, and to take children to a bottle shop in quaint coffee shop or place two. there."

So … summarizes, T.J. was a wholesaler that I used to work with countries already posted my wines, and this struggle not to me what I had to do was to go and work with the markets of the world who t.j.s eager to listen to the story of my brains with me about the best way to sell the wines (including me doing everything that is necessary to assist in the process), to get the job done. I sold to demand of wine, because we are so loved, did the work.

Outdoor space for you all, but you must be patient and take the baby step, grasshopper.
